Privacy Policy

Short version: your clipboard, files, and preferences stay on your Mac. OmniNotch has no cloud and no telemetry.

What OmniNotch is

OmniNotch is a macOS app that turns your MacBook notch into a local workspace for media, files, clipboard history, timers, and related utilities. This policy covers the OmniNotch app and the omninotch.com website.

Data stays on your Mac

Clipboard history, dropped files, timers, preferences, and other feature data are stored only on your device. OmniNotch does not upload that content to our servers. There is no OmniNotch cloud sync and no account required to use the app.

No telemetry

OmniNotch does not collect analytics, crash reports, usage metrics, or advertising identifiers. We do not track how you use individual features.

Clipboard handling

Clipboard history is kept locally so you can paste recent items from the notch. OmniNotch skips password-manager clips and other transient clipboard content when it can detect them. You can clear history from the app at any time.

License activation

When you purchase OmniNotch, payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Your license key is emailed to you and, once entered, stored in your macOS Keychain. Activation works offline after the key is saved. A license may be used on up to three Macs.

Website

The marketing site may use standard hosting logs (for example IP address, browser type, and pages requested) provided by our host. We do not run third-party ad trackers on the site. Checkout for purchases happens on Dodo Payments’ pages and is subject to their privacy policy.
